Kurt Buyse is Taminco’s Performance Products Director. He joined Taminco in 2008, working to support new business development in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. Prior to joining Taminco, he spent 11 years in the coatings industry, first as a research scientist at AkzoNobel in Brussels and later as Research and Development manager for Oxyplast in Ghent. Kurt holds a master’s degree in chemistry and a PhD in Polymer Chemistry from the University of Louvain. |

Michael D. Gernon is a senior research scientist at Taminco, where he focuses on product and applications development. Responsible for discovering, developing and commercializing the novel applications of amines, Mike holds more than two dozen patents. Mike completed his PhD at State University of New York at Albany, and postdoced at both the University of Rhode Island and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. |
